Hello! My name is James Wolfe, founder of Lone Wolfe Productions. I would love to hear from you. Here is a bit about me and my promise to you:

I moved to Colorado back in 2004 and I have always been inspired by the diversity of nature and environments in this state. There are the vast Rocky Mountains holding countless opportunities for adventure. There is Boulder and Denver, two large cities with a lot to offer. Then there are even the sand dunes in the south part of the state. Seeing all of these different landscapes has really geared me towards photography to capture it all. So I got my bachelor's degree in media production. This gave me all the understanding of capturing the right image through composition, lighting, timing, and color. I started photographing nature and landscape when I first moved here and rapidly got involved in all other forms of photography. This ranged from macro subjects, to journalism, to product, real estate, and then to my favorite, people. It is the most satisfying feeling to me to get that perfect shot and to have my client get that same feeling.

When photographing weddings, I aim to get those shots that the bride and groom will fall in love with and they can look back on their pictures and remember every detail of their special day. I love seeing their eyes light up when they see themselves in the picture and are amazed of how incredible they look. There is something about capturing people candidly that is really special. It shows their true smile, their true emotion, and their true self.

Other forms of photography, such as real estate and product, I shoot towards getting everything mathematically perfect. This means the lighting is in just in the right spot, the composition remains interesting, and the whole photograph shows everything needed. It’s usually never noticed when it all looks correct, but when just one thing is out of place, it is blatantly obvious. I’ve learned this through my years of experience and know how to get the most ideal shot.

Having experience in a wide range of photography and videography has abled me to open my eyes and expand my creativity as oppose to only photographing one type. Photographing real estate and product gives me the understanding of composing multiple shots together, such as the sky and background in a portrait shot. Another example would be taking a long exposure for the scenery, and then having my subject come into frame. Then I merge the two shots together in post editing to get a very dramatic shot.

My work is not finished until you are completely satisfied with the results. It is my motto to keep everything simple, transparent, and a fun experience with all of my clients.
